This ESTEEM workshop is organised at SuperSTEM under the auspices of the University of Cambridge of which SuperSTEM is an ESTEEM sub-node. It builds on the established summer schools held at SuperSTEM every two years over the last six years.

The talks and practicals of this ESTEEM AC-STEM workshop will cover the topics of Imaging, Analysis, Simulation of images & EELS spectra and Advanced Application of Aberration Corrected STEM. The practicals will be on both, CEOS and Nion corrected instruments.

The workshop is intended for all PhD students, Postdocs, academic and technical staff who use aberration corrected STEM as part of their research.

The AC-STEM workshop will be preceded by a one-day SuperSTEM school on 2nd July 2010 which will cover introductory level STEM for which one can register as well.

It follows right after the RMS Microscience 2010 conference and exhibition in London (28th June - 1st July 2010).
